I had two more days in Vancouver before definitely leaving this multicultural metropole to explore the Rockies. After Granville Island we went to the botanical garden, where the funny Bloedel conservatory is, which turned out as an exotic plant house. Ialso had a long jog to the third beach in Stanleypark. There was a meeting of 25 independant drummers who asked mestraight up to join them. I like the relaxed and open hearted mind of Vancouverians!

The next day we made a long stroll to Coal Harbour (popular skyline and place where the olympic flame stood), waterstreet (oldest part of town) and the chinese garden. In the afternoon I hiked up to Grouse Mountain with another swiss traveller and enjoyed the view over Vancouver.

My time in Vancouver was already over. But I will definitely come back to beautyful B.C. Next time during winter!;-)
